Welcome
to ENCF Kidz, the Children’s Ministry of Eagles’ Nest
Christian Fellowship! Each week we minister to children
with one common goal—to share the love and Word of
God with each child who attends.
The
vision and mission of ENCF Kidz is simple. Here
at Eagles’ Nest Christian Fellowship we take
children and ministering to them very seriously. We
know that children are the church of tomorrow, but
they are also the church of today. The Word
of God tells us in the last days God will pour out
His spirit on all flesh and that sons and daughters
will prophesy. This is being fulfilled now! That
is what children’s ministry department is all
about – training kids now, for a life time
of service. We endeavor to establish an atmosphere
and environment in every classroom for children to
be taught and changed by the Word of God and the
power of the Holy Spirit. ENCF Kidz is a teaching
ministry to children of biblical truths which are
easily understood and applied to daily lives, therefore
creating “doers of the Word of God and not
just hearers only.” Children learn and
understand that the Bible has answers to any and
every problem of life. Children not only learn
about God and His Word, but also learn to know Him
personally through an intimate relationship as their
heavenly Father.

Kidz is divided into three areas of ministry.
The
Nursery (6
weeks old – until potty trained).
Pre-School (Potty
trained children – kindergarten)
Elementary
Department,and Our
Elementary Department is for children in
the 1st – 5th grade and is called X–Treme
Kidz. Every week they

In
our Nursery & Pre-School Department we provide
a safe, caring, clean, loving, and spiritually nurturing
environment for every child. Each classroom
is divided into age-appropriate groupings, which
coincide with each child’s developmental level. Not
only has special care and attention been given to
the selection of toys and equipment used in the classroom,
but also with the policies and procedures that have
been written.
Training
is provided in First Aid and CPR to the Department
Heads and Teachers. Close attention is given
to the ratio of children to adult workers. Each
child is taught the Word of God in each service. Our
newborn to one-year-old curriculum emphasizes the
importance of speaking the Word of God over every
child in the classroom. Within the hearts of
the children, this establishes a foundation to love
and understand the Word of God at a very early age. The
two-year-old through kindergarten curriculum focuses
upon the age-appropriate methods and lessons where
the children learn and apply the Word of God.
There
is also a safe haven for nursing mothers and a paging
system that lets parents enjoy the service with out
worry.
For
children with special physical or mental challenges
who need individual assistance in order to fully
participate, every effort is made to connect each
child with a Special Buddy who will assist him or
her during a weekend service. This is a deliberate
process, taking into consideration the needs of the
child and the concerns of the parents in order to
make the best match between each child and their
Special Buddy. Due to this process it may be
necessary for a family to wait until a volunteer
is found.
