Inclement weather policy.
Just a reminder that when adverse weather prevents the Center from operating at normal times information will be posted on your local WRAL station or WRAL.com. Many factors are considered when determining what the schedule will be. Factors that are taken into consideration are the Public and Private school system, what other Daycares and Learning Centers are doing. However, we are a privately operated facility and a decision to delay or close is at our descression. Decisions are always made as early as possible and with Student and staff safety in mind. Please make sure to check your WRAL station or WRAL.com to be completely clear on the opening time for that day. We are listed as Eagles' Nest Learning Center.

Clothing
It is important that children come ready in the morning for the activities that will take place that day. Please always send your child in sturdy shoes. Children should not wear backless shoes and sandals. If your child is not wearing proper shoe attire they may not be able to participate in more active times (such as the playground). This is for their safety to prevent accidents or injuries.

For gymnastics class on Friday, tennis shoes are required. Children should also where loose and comfortable clothing on Monday to participate in gymnastics. Girls should not wear skirts or dresses.

Also please make sure that your child has at least one complete set of change of clothes. Teachers may request additional clothes if your child is in the process of potty training.

Birthday Party Policies
We understand that your child's birthday is a day to celebrate with their friends here at the Center. Parents are always welcome to throw a party for their child. But please follow these guidelines. - All parties must take place in the afternoon snack at 3:30. Parties will be in place of afternoon snack. Parties should be arranged with your child's teacher one week in advance. This gives them time to inform other parents of the changes in the snack schedule. All snacks including cupcakes and juice must be purchased. Homemade items are not permitted. Latex balloons are not permitted in the classrooms or lunch room. If you want to bring balloons only mylar balloons can be used.
